Question:
I am an alarm/cctv/anything low voltage installer and I would like to do something cool in my apt. I recently had a baby boy and I put a look down smoke detector camera in his room and I am able to view it from any TV in my house from video 1 input. I also have a DSC 832 panel sitting around never installed due to I live on the 15th floor and the end apt where the ONLY way in is my front door and plus it is a very safe neighborhood. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has any cool ideas on what I could do. I was thinking something in the affect of using X-10 to do something, but not sure what would trigger it. Would I be able to utilize the panel for anything? If anyone has any cool ideas

A: x10.com is full of ideas and applications, tons of home automatic sites too as well as website mentioned but be CAREFUL with that x10 stuff, it'll knickle-dime you something fierce and you DO need the money for boring stuff like diapers and such...
