Question:
Does anyone out there have information on fire prevention for colleges and universities. I'm involved with getting a more exclusive program started with the University and I'm wondering what other places do. We're targeting residential halls but a campus wide program would work as well.

Answer: I have instigated a fire prevention program at a dormitory I attended 2 years ago. This included involvement with the local FD, Resident Assistants, the Hall director, and the residents. The program generally included what to do, what not to do, as well as how to use and when to use firefighting equipment (they still have hose lines.)
