Question: This may sound like a silly question but are there any OSHA regulations that require you to keep fire extinguisher inspection tags once they are filled up. I am talking about the tags that are on the extinguishers that you sign every time you do a visual check of the extinguisher.
Answer: This type of detail would be referred to NFPA 10. They only require a permanent record for: * Maintenance, date, time, procedure, person * Recharge, * Hydrostatic Test, date, time, procedure, person * Dents after hydro * 6-year maintenance for stored pressure units. NFPA 10 A-4-4.3
