Answer: Interesting that they sell a boat that is not USCG approved. They require 1 B-I for any boat under 26 feet that has inboard/I/O/permanent fuel tanks. The only exception is if you have a Halon system, that counts. I ordered my CC with Halon, so I got no seperate extinguisher. If I didn't get Halon, I would have gotten a extinguisher with the boat (I added one anyway-better safe than sorry). It is really hard to believe that for what a new Malibu costs that they can't even put in a fire extinguiser.
