Question:
Mounting a fire extinguisher QI am searching for advice on how to mount my fire ext. to my roll bar. Exactly what type of straps should I use for this? The unit only came with a cheesy plastic mount to attach it to the wall. please email replies if possible.

Answer: -here i have a 97 tj and i put with the cheese mount and zip tied it to the rollbar on driverssiderear seatbelt and i just cant tuse the laeft rear seatbelt from the roll bar owell i dont use it anyway i dont wheel with four people in my jeep yet . i have had 7 adults in my jeep .anyway tht should work . it just depends how big of a fire extinguisher you have

-Not being sure exactly where I wanted it, I used electrical tape and fastened the cheap, plastic mounts to the bar directly behind the driver's seat. It's high enough that it's out of the way and the tape is holding it in fine. So far the only downside is that it creates a "blindspot" when I turn my head to the left, looking for traffic coming up from behind/beside.
