I've been contacted by an alarm user who is looking for a technician in Dallas. Knowledge of commercial fire alarms needed. They have a system which is in need of service. In addition to servicing the panel (model unknown) they have a fair number of smokes in need of cleaning, testing, etc. If you're in the Dallas area and you're interested in the job contact me and I'll put you in touch with the client. A: There is more than knowledge that is needed. Just can't stop aiding and abetting unlicensed activity can you? Your client is aiding and abetting by using you as it is. Don't get him into any more than he is already guilty of. A technician can not do this unless he is properly licensed in Texas. If someone responds to your post, before giving out client info, are you going to ask him if he is licensed or is just replying to your post sufficient? Tell your client to pick up the telephone and call a local licensed company. That is the only and best advice you should give him.
