I'm looking for a 110VAC Smoke/Carbon Monoxide Detector. Anyone know mfg./model numbers?

Question:
I'm looking for a 110VAC Smoke/Carbon Monoxide Detector. Anyone know mfg./model numbers?

Answer: -There is no units that I can think of. I believe that one of the reasons is application of product. Smoke detectors need to be installed high upon the cieling Carbon Dioxide is heavier gas and therefore will go to the floor first and those detectors if installed properly should be on the floor.

-I cannot believe what I am reading Carbon Monoxide is lighter than air and rises. Carbon Monoxide detectors should be installed on the ceiling. All of these units come with instructions on where to install them. (and we wonder why people die from fire related deaths). This really scares me.
