I would like to request that anyone who knows of an address or addresses for free fire-prevention information, packets, pamphlets, etc, could let me know of them. We don't have a very big fire prevention budget, but would like to get some more stuff to give out at open houses, and when we do fire prevention at schools. Please let me know

Answer: Dave It sounds as if you and I are in the same boat. In the past we have received alot of material from our state and county fire bureau. I recently took on the responsibilty of fire prevention for our dept and have yet to request new materials. I'm sure when I do request new items (1996 stuff not 1984 stuff) I will be met met with resistence. I tried a couple years ago to get the Dept. involved in the Change program that the IAFC and Energizer battery came up with but none of the chief officers would buy into it. I will try it again this year. Keep me in mind and send ideas my way too regarding fire
