Question:
My local 4x4 club requires a fire extinguisher. I bought one at Price Club. Now the question is where do you mount it. I've seen them mounted between the rear wheel well and the roll bar on a YJ. However, either I have an odd shape extinguisher or the distance is smaller on the 98 TJ. Any suggestions.

Answer: -Mine fit well on the floor to the left of the driver seat. Used 2 sheetmetal screws to mount the holder. Its very available and out of sight here, although you can't reach it with the door shut.

-I mounted mine on the roll bar just above the seatbelt mechanism. I bought some velcro straps and used two, wrapping them around the roll bar then around the extinguisher. Solid and easy to get too, and the fire extinguisher looks cool too
