Question:
I'd have put it between the front seats but there's that fancy console there which makes a nice arm rest. Where do you guys and gals have your fire extinguisher mounted?

Answer: You didn't say what you are driving, but in my TJ, there are several good spots: 1) vertically behind the main roll (sport?) bar hoop. 2) vertically in front of the rear sport bar hoops. (watch your placement if you carry rear seat passengers.) 3) vertically on the back of the console. 4) horizontally on the floor between the driver's seat and the rocker panel. I'm sure there are plenty more, but these are the places that pop into my mind right now. I have mine in position #4. Watch your placement, though. If you drive with your seat pretty far back like I do, place the unit far enough back that you won't be kicking the gauge when you get in and out.
