Just a note to mention that there is a " Fire and Community Safety expo " on this weekend in Melbourne. "Sunday 2nd December" the shire of Nillumbik (Eltham, Research, Diamond creek etc) will be hosting a Fire and community Safety expo at Diamond Creek. There will be displays provided by all areas of Emergency Services - Police, Victoria State Emergency Service, Ambulance Service, Fire brigade's(metro and country)as well as Airport fire services, A.D.F displays and heaps more. There will also be demonstrations through the day and opportunities to see various specialised vehicles within each service. This will also be a good opportunity for Emergency Service personnel to see the diversity of equipment carried and used by other services you may work with out in the field. Should be a good day, swap a few war stories or even get some good ideas, its not very often that you get everyone together in the one spot for a day.

Answer: Went to the Expo yesterday. Was very good. More regions have to do this I think. Took plenty of photos, but too bad about the weather. Was there for 4 hours and it stopped raining for 5 minutes. For the people who did go, did the Mets eventually turn up aswell as AIR-495 after it attended the MVA on Plenty Road.

Once again, was a great day (except for the rain).
